We always have these unforgettable first date stories, specifically those we meet from Tinder, a social networking and dating app. But for this 22-year-old Australian, her first Tinder date. She involves a life and date situation that is related to the pandemic. However, but to an allergic reaction.
Samara Hnaien from Sydney, Australia., shared her Tinder date mishap on TikTok that ended her up in a hospital. After kissing her date Charles Harris, 23, who had eaten a peanut butter sandwich before they met up.
In a now viral Tiktok series, Hnaien revealed they were “mid hook up” on their first date on a Saturday night. When the woman started to get a “tingling feeling” in her mouth. Noting that she has severe allergic reactions whenever she eats peanuts, she nervously asked her date if he ate anything with peanuts. “And he’s like, ‘Yeah, I had a peanut butter sandwich before you came over,’’ she said on the video.
According to the Buzzfeed report, her anaphylactic shock happened fast because she did eat anything before the meet up. Hnaien then immediately asked Harris to administer her EpiPen in her thigh so the adrenaline could properly flow to her body. Later, she had him call emergency services.
