In the post, Reuben was dancing with the on-trend pop Say So by Doja Cat while a suspicious figure briefly appeared in the background.
While he meant to impress the internet, he ended up scaring his viewers.
Commenters described it as looking like someone “poking their head” around the corner. Meanwhile, others said he planned to setup that kind of recording. It seemed like a possible home intrusion.
In one of several follow-up videos, Reuben claimed he was not feeling “calm” and he was already having trouble sleeping.
He said he was not sure if that was a person in the background on the stairs because he would know if someone is walking down them.
Reuben reiterated he did not stage the possible recorded home intrusion; the user also confirmed he lives with his relatives but they were not there during that time and they do not own any pets.
Reuben also mentioned that the house was near a graveyard.
