On January 13, 2018, the temperature reached a chilly 31-degree high in Birmingham, Alabama, where Briana DiGiorgio witnessed thoughtful actions from a doctor that touched her heart greatly while she was sitting at a red light.
A homeless man with a cardboard sign on the side of the intersection was dressed in what she described as “minimal clothing,” with a sweatshirt wrapped like a scarf around the next of this guy.
While she’s watching.
Another individual approached him, taking off his coat and putting it on the homeless man.
That’s when the recording began with DiGiorgio. “I was thinking, ‘ I got to get it on video, I got to,” she said. “It’s something that I don’t see every day. I published it so that others could see what I’ve seen.”
Let us watch as the unbelievably kind guy provides the coat off his back to a stranger. He was later recognized as a neonatologist doctor from Birmingham, Dr. Rees Oliver.
The excellent and thoughtful act of the doctor did not end there. He said on the moment he left, “Take it up and stay warm. I’m going to go get some food for you. I’m going to be back right, all right?”
He is truly a great doctor. He helps people even outside the hospital. Keep up the good work. We’re proud of you!
