The job of the police officers is to chase and wrangle criminals every day and it is quite hard. However, is catching huge snakes still part of their job? We don’t think so.
Well, that is precisely what Officer Joseph Cabrera of the Pembroke Pines local department found himself doing whereas responding to an emergency decision last January 11, 2018.
There’s a nearly 13-foot-long Burmese python that had been spotted on a Florida road near U.S. Route 27, and Cabrera was the lucky officer who was tasked with catching the large reptile.
Does the police officer have this kind of training?
Surprisingly enough, this wasn’t the first time for Cabrera to wrestle with a giant snake. He was called out to collect another 13-foot python last April 2017.
Cabrera does his best to arrest the offending python which was later picked up by a licensed python remover.
Here’s the big guy that Cabrera catches. This snake is enormous. We wonder how he was able to do catch it.
We’re pretty sure that Cabrera would agree that there’s never a dull moment when you’re working as a police officer.
Kudos to him and also the different officers for removing the python safely while not harming it.
