The new director of the second installment of Venom is none other than Andy Serkis. His representative confirms it last Monday.
The film he will be directing is a sequel to the last year’s movie hit of a supervillain caper which grossed $856 million at the box office worldwide.
Tom Hardy will return to play the character of Eddie Brock who is a hapless journalist whose body bonds with an alien that provides him with superhuman power and strength.
The directing deal was closed over the weekend, and filming will start in fall. Andy is thrilled and excited about his upcoming project. He can’t wait to start filming according to his Twitter post.
But before he became a director, Serkis played the character of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, as well as The Hobbit trilogy.
New director means new filming techniques. We hope that the second movie of Venom will be great as Andy Serkis takes responsibility. We are looking forward to it! What can you say about this?
