There’s a picture of a 6-year old boy that has gone viral on Facebook. The boy is wearing his custom-made shirt from her mother for her first day at school.
Nikki Rajahn, a mom of four kids who runs her own business called Unfading Adornments.
Before the first day of school at North Fayette Elementary School, she asked her son, Blake, on what shirt would he like to wear.
“I told him that as a back to school gift, I will make him any shirt he would like. It could be a basketball theme, football, etc. — which are all his favorites.”, said Rajahn on her post.
After a while, Blake said, ‘Will you please make me a shirt that says, ‘I will be your friend’ for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?’”
“Never underestimate your kid’s heart for others! I love my sweet Blake!” Rajahn ended her post.
The Facebook post has been shared over 7,400 times and accumulated more than 14,000 reactions.
Almost 1,500 people commented and wanted to order the same shirt because of the sweet message. People even called it as “Anti-bully” shirt.
It is a local NGO that aims to help the family that is having a hard time financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
The simple t-shirt design became a local campaign to stop bullying and be a friend to a stranger. The intention of this young boy will really change the way we look at other people especially the strangers.
