The entire kindergarten class showed up for this young boy’s adoption hearing and it gets you right in the feels.
A boy in Michigan showed up at the courthouse in Grand Rapids, Thursday, December 18. He has with him his foster parents and behind him was an unusual crowd of supporters.
Well the entire kindergarten class showed up for his adoption hearing
Micheal’s class sat behind him in the audience waving big red hearts to show their support.
Michael’s adoptive father told CNN his favorite part was when the judge asked everyone present in the room to explain what Michael means to them.

The kindergartens’ answers will surely touch everybody’s hearts saying to the court, “I love Michael” or “Michael’s my best friend”.
He added that the judge said it was the first time she’d ever hosted a whole kindergarten class for a hearing in her courtroom. Certainly, this hearing will be in her memories for years to come.
Micheal’s parents fostered him for a year
Micheal’s mother told her son’s teacher, Mrs. McKee, gave the idea to her one day when she dropped him off at the Wealthy Elementary School.
McKee knew that the adoption would be finalized soon, and the two got the idea on how to make a big gig for Micheal’s special day.
This was the idea for everyone to have a bit of an unusual field trip and a day to remember.
