Vietnamese food is one of the tasteful dishes in the world. The most common ingredients of their foods are fish sauce, shrimp paste, rice, fruit, and vegetables. However, a famous restaurant in Vietnam has its own secret ingredient.
The restaurant that we’re talking about is Ănăn Saigon which is in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. It is owned by the award-winning chef Peter Cuong Franklin.
Moreover, his creative new Vietnamese cuisine made his restaurant famous and signifies his concept of Vietnam of being progressive and international when it comes to the food industry.
That’s why he added his own secret ingredient to their foods. One of the famous Vietnamese dishes is Pho and he made this noodle dish to the next level by putting his secret ingredient – Japanese Sake or rice wine.
However, many people are saying that he is just using a fusion technique when he’s cooking his Vietnamese foods. But chef Franklin believes that it’s still pure Vietnamese cuisine.
The Japanese Sake is just an additional flavor that seamlessly mixes well with the flavors of Vietnam which makes his Pho more flavorful than the others.
