A five-year-old boy from the US drives his parents’ car in early May this year to buy a Lamborghini.
According to a report, a Utah Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a swerving van. They thought an impaired person was driving the vehicle.
The officer spotted the vehicle fairing on Interstate 15 at 30 mph, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
But they were surprised when they saw a very young driver behind the wheels.
The five-year-old boy is actually on his way to California to buy the luxury car. Police said he left right after he argued with the mother, who said she would not buy him the vehicle.
In a tweet, the Utah Highway Patrol said the young man made it from the 17th and Lincoln in Ogden down to the 25th Street. The tweet earned 4,000 likes and 2,600 retweets.
Trooper Rick Morgan asked with full surprise to the kid: “How old are you? You’re 5 years old?”
“Wow … Where did you learn to drive a car?” he said based on the dash camera footage of the traffic stop.
Later on, the officer helped the child to get the SUV into the park.
The child eventually told the police that he intended to purchase a Lamborghini amounting $200,000. He only had $3 in his pocket.
Meanwhile, the local prosecutor will decide whether to file charges against his parents, who left him under his sibling’s care while away from home.
