We have been burying our departed loved ones for the last 100,000 years. It is an ancient practice that we are still doing today.
However, our world is running out of burial space. Maybe it’s time for us to think of innovative ways to bury our departed loved ones.
Well, some people are choosing to cremate their dead and place it in a beautiful urn.
But what if we tell you that the ashes of your departed loved ones can live again? Yes, you’ve read that correctly. The ashes of the dead can live again but only as a tree. This idea comes from Bios Urn.
The company is founded by Gerard Moliné and his brother, Roger. In fact, it is the world’s first environmental urn designed to use the ashes of a person or a pet and grow it into a tree.
The cremated remains of our departed loved ones will fill the bottom of the vessel plus soil mix and seed that are placed on an expansion disc on top.
When this container is planted outside, it will begin to break down. As the roots of the tree expand, they will start to blend with the ashes which technically giving a new life to a dead being.
The second creation of Bios Urn, Bios Incube, allows you to grow the tree inside your household. People are calling it “the first incubator of the world for the afterlife”.
