Marvel’s Infinity Saga Box will be released in time for Christmas.
According to reports, the boxed set contains all 23 Marvel Cinematic Universe films from 2008 up until 2019. In essence, the collector’s edition features close to 60 hours of Marvel footage that includes deleted scenes and behind the scenes shots from all MCU movies to date. Aptly named Infinity Saga Box, the set contains all movies from MCU’s Phase one to three.
However, be prepared to dole out a huge amount to get it. According to reports, the Infinity Saga Box would cost a whopping $549.99. In essence, the box sells each movie for about $24 bucks apiece. Although, different payment terms have been set up to ease your purchase especially around the holidays. Accordingly, a payment term amounting to $45.84 has been set up by BestBuy, the box’s promoter.
Infinity Saga Box – What did it cost? Everything.
Accordingly, fans have trolled about the price of the collector’s item. A number of memes have attributed the hefty cost to Thanos’ and Gamora’s conversation in Avengers: Infinity War.
Notably, Marvel believes that their true and die-hard fans would purchase the collector’s item despite the price. In an interview with Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige, he mentions that:
“If we do a big, giant Infinity Saga box set, we might include… I’m assuming if you’re going to spend the money to buy a box set with everything in it, you’re a fan.”
The Marvel Cinematic Universe figures as the highest-earning movie franchise ever. With 23 films under its umbrella, the franchise has earned a whopping $22.5 Billion throughout its extended run from 2008 to 2019. Additionally, its latest film, Avengers Endgame recently became the highest-grossing film of all time. In particular, it nearly broke the $3 Billion thresholds during its run earlier this year.
