ICT or Information and Communication Technologies has already been part of our daily lives as Richard Heeks said in his book.
People can’t live without their gadgets not because they are addicted to it but it’s part of their everyday routine.
More importantly, ICT has advanced aggressively that it has already become part of us.
It has become a necessity for us and not just an entertainment thing. ICT has come a long way from the 80s if we were to compare it.
From the way we communicate with people up to the way we shop. ICT has become part of everything.
Moreover, ICT has a bright future ahead of us. That’s why if we continue to use it for our own good, then we can be more advanced as we are today.
Therefore, we believe that for us to achieve that, we have to do it together. We have to make our own contributions to Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D).
But how do we do that as a society? By simply using these technologies wisely and not to harm other people.
We can also give a decent review of everything that we are using. With that, developers can make advanced technologies based on our opinions and reviews.
If most people will do that, it can contribute to the sustainable development goal of the United Nations in 2030.
