Life on Earth is uncertain. We will never know when our time here is over. That’s why it’s important to live your life to the fullest before it’s too late. Just like this young woman who died at such a young age and her final words can change some of your outlook in life.
Holly Butcher is from New South Wales, Australia and she was just 27 years old when she died from Ewing’s sarcoma. It is a rare form of cancer that grows in the skeletons of kids and young adults.
The young woman doesn’t want to die and leave her loved ones. But she already accepted it that she could not stop it from happening.
In her final moments, she recalls everything about her life. She wrote about all the tiny, trivial things which she realized that those things didn’t matter.
Holly even tells all the things she will miss with her short yet happy life. With her final words, she wanted to inspire others to cherish their lives rather than grumble about it.
We will show you two paragraphs from her letter to her Facebook post:
People are complaining about how terrible work is or about how hard it is to exercise – Be grateful you are physically able to. Work and exercise may seem like such trivial things … until your body doesn’t allow you to do either of them.
I tried to live a healthy life, in fact, that was probably my major passion. Appreciate your good health and functioning body- even if it isn’t your ideal size. Look after it and embrace how amazing it is.
You can now rest in peace, Holly. Thank you for your final words to remind us about life.
