The Chinese had made another successful achievement when they made their first-ever aircraft carrier and by today, it’s operational.
“Shandong” the name of the aircraft made by the Chinese in China.
The carrier was built for the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLA) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), a Chinese army.
It was made by the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry, a Liaoning Province based company.

And the project held in Dalian City, in Liaoning Province as well.
The project started by March of 2015 as their “laid down.”
After 2 years, the project has been done and has been launched by April 2017.

And this year, it was fully commissioned and officially enters the service domestically.
Moreover, the President of China, Xi Jinping believes this is the step forward for China.
He also attended the Commissioning Ceremony earlier this month.
According to Malcolm Davis, senior analyst in Defense Strategy and Capability at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute:
“I think the politicians in the Chinese Communist Party didn’t really comprehend the challenges of acquiring a carrier,”
He then added:
“The Liaoning was relatively easy but the Type 001A and the vessels that follow her will be much more complex. I think the Chinese have got their work cut out for them.”
In addition President Xi said it was “world-class.“
