That’s why in the past few months, this e-cigarette company are receiving a lot of criticism.

Since we know that they were accused to be the cause of the young people who have a lung-related disease.

With those amid concerns, President Trump has ordered Juul Labs to stop advertising their products in the US. He also asked Congress to ban the flavored vapes in their country.

Therefore, as Mr. Burns stepped down being the CEO of Juul Labs, the company complied with the order of Trump. They will no longer advertise their products especially their flavored e-cigarettes.

The new CEO of Juul Labs is K.C. Crosthwaite, a former executive at tobacco-maker Altria, which took a 35 percent stake in the company last year.

“Crosthwaite will continue a wide review of the company’s procedures and guidelines to ensure position with its aim of responsible leadership within the industry,”

Juul said in a statement released on Wednesday.

Certainly, Juul has promoted its e-cigarettes for so many years, which contain addictive nicotine. The company also claim that their products are safe for all those years.

However, the Food and Drug Administration has recently warned the company regarding their promotion without supplying enough evidence to support their claim.

Ban Policy for the Flavored Vape Products of Juul Labs and other companies

Meanwhile, the US Congress will soon finalize the policy of banning all the flavored vaping products of the e-cigarettes companies in the United States.

But they clarified that this policy can still change once those companies have FDA approval already.

“The policy of banning the flavored vaping products does not mean that they could never be marketed,” Ned Sharpless, the acting FDA commissioner, said in a statement.

“If a company can prove to their FDA application that their products meet the standards set forth by the Congress, then the FDA will immediately authorize the sale of it,” he added.

CEO of Juul Labs create restrictions

Likewise, the ban policy in restricting the sale of flavored vaping products will set to release by the FDA in the coming weeks.

But Juul Labs will not wait for that as they are doing some actions when it comes to selling their products to the minors.

Moreover, they are requiring the retail stores to ask the buyers to show electronically verify government-issued ID before allowing someone to buy their products.

However, some critics of the company said that their actions are quite late because there are already victims of their products and the damaged has already been done.

Well, some people still support the company because they are saying that it’s better late than never.
