British Airways Flights Delayed By A Technical Glitch

The British Airways flights are suffering “technical issues”. This lead to the disruption for thousands of passengers.

The problem resulted in delays and a number of flight cancellations overnight. Due to the cancellations, a number of people got disrupted.

British Airways, which owned by International Airline Group (ICAGY), said in a statement,

teams are working hard to resolve a technical issue which is affecting some of our flights.

The bearer said it was rebooking some people onto different flights and offering hotels to som who are unable to continue their journey.

People asked to refer to the British Airways website to check their flight status. The airline said that they are “very sorry for the disruption” of the passengers’ travel plans.

The airline said that it plans to operate a full flight schedule on Thursday. But the issue may cause some further delays. Also, they have been hit by a series of technical issues in recent years.

British Airways forced to cancel 100 flights in August when their computer system crashed.

And in 2017, the airline canceled flights from London’s Heathrow and Gatwick airports when a major IT system failure caused severe disruption to its global operations, leading to 75,000 people being stranded.
