Being grateful is a characteristic that is extremely admirable. A simple “Thank you” to someone who helped you or gave you something can go a long way.
As it makes you a good person and also makes the other person appreciated, which is something that a human being constantly craves for.
Some people are naturally grateful, they tend to thank you for every single thing that you do for them.
May it be just opening the door for them or letting them go ahead of you while waiting in a long line.
These are the people who are appreciative and constantly feels overwhelmed and never fail to see the goodness in the people they meet.
Saying the words “thank you, I appreciate you” is innate in their personal vocabulary.
However, there are also people who are grateful but do not have enough courage to let those magic words come out of their mouths.
Two of the factors that may be hindering them from expressing their thoughts are their shy personality and their upbringing.
Maybe they were not trained to be thankful or maybe they are just shy to express their gratitude to people who do them good.
Sadly, there are also people who seem to be ungrateful and unappreciative of the good people they are surrounded with.
These are the people who tend to always complain about anything and everything.
But they forget to realize the good things that are happening and are given to them by the good people they are surrounded by.
So, how about you? Which of these traits do you best describe yourself as?
