At just 7.5 mm thick, the Pebble Time Round is not only the thinnest smartwatch in the world, it is also the lightest.
Gizmodo has declared it to be “[the] smartwatch for people who don’t like smartwatches”, and it’s easy to see why.
There is nothing pretentious or overbearing about the elegant and minimalistic design.
The Pebble Time Round retails for USD$249.99, and can be purchased at Pebble’s own online store, including free international shipping.
For those of you with a small or large wrist—fear not! The Pebble comes with the choice of either a 14 mm or 20 mm strap and comes in a variety of colors. For those of you who are new to the smartwatch game, the Pebble Round runs its own proprietary operating system, and it even features a microphone for dictating text messages and other commands.
The device is fully compatible with Android and iPhone handsets, although it has a little bit more functionality with Android.
The slim form factor unfortunately comprises battery life somewhat, with a full charge lasting only two days, which is only half of what its sister watch, the Pebble Time, is capable of lasting. Nevertheless, a 15-minute charge is all it takes to give the Pebble a full day of power.
